Schon nach dem ersten Kontakt mit Frank von Pelecanus war uns klar, dass wir hier einen Volltreffer gelandet haben. Frank ist unmittelbarer Ansprechpartner und kennt alles in Kolumbien aus eigener Erfahrung. Also nicht deutscher Agentur beauftragt große Agentur vor Ort, die wiederum kleine Agentur vor Ort beauftragt. Davon hatten wir in unseren Urlauben genug und meist mit schlechter Erfahrung.
Frank atte sofort das richtige Gespür, was uns gut gefallen könnte und welche Unterkünfte für uns infrage kommen. Er hat dann eine sechswöchige Reise mit super vielen Abwechslung an vielen verschiedenen Orten geplant. Alles hat wie am Schnürchen geklappt, keine Minute Verspätung irgendwo. Immer nette Geiz und verlässliche Fahrer.Das war der Garant dafür, dass Wir einen wirklich fantastischen Urlaub hatten. We have just finished an extremely enjoyable visit to Colombia which was organised by Frank Spitzer from PELECANUS SAS. Everything was perfect and well structured. It was a pleasure dealing with Frank from day 1 who came across very professionally.

Wir sind eine 6er-Gruppe von begeisterten Golfern und echten Geniessern aus der Schweiz. Viele der Golfplätze haben eine lange Geschichte und bieten der Golferin und dem Golfer alles, was sie sich wünschen. Und wenn man dann noch mit Frank Spitzer, Inhaber von Pelecanus SAS Bogota bucht, ist sichergestellt, dass alles wie gewünscht klappt. Besonders auch dann, wenn  wenn mal etwas nicht ist, wie es sollte. Frank war rund um die Uhr erreichbar und löste die kleinen Herausforderungen zeitnah und professionell. Unforgettable Bogotá Experience Thanks to Pelecanus SAS!

I can't say enough good things about Pelecanus SAS and the incredible 5-day trip they organized for us in Bogotá. From the moment we touched down, everything was smooth, thoughtful, and perfectly curated. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a full-on experience.

The itinerary was packed with highlights: exploring the vibrant Paloquemao Market, wandering the colorful streets of La Candelaria, taking in the stunning views from both Monserrate and Cerro de Guadalupe, hiking up to the sacred lagoon at Guatavita, exploring the famed Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, and hiking in the clouds at Matarredonda park. Every stop felt intentional and well-paced, with just the right mix of culture, history, and fun. The Gold Museum and Botero Museum were absolute gems, and the meal at the restaurant Prudencia? Easily one of the best we’ve ever had. The team also procured tickets for us to see a candlelit, classical music concert in the stunning Teatro Colón.

From our first interaction, what really stood out was the level of care and professionalism from the Pelecanus team. Our guide, Nicole, was always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about showcasing the best of Colombia. You could tell the Pelecanus team love what they do—and it made all the difference.

Frank will work with you to prepare an individual itinenary that will match your interests and trip objectives. Many people worry about safety in Colombia, but we felt safe during our entire trip and it was great to have all the transfers and tours organized. We are so thankful to have found Frank at Pelecanus! He helped us plan five rounds of golf in Columbia and without him we would never have been able to golf some amazing courses! I have personally booked a number of golf trips in Central and South America but Columbia is definitely just opening up to foreigners playing their courses. Frank made it possible by handling our tee time reservations, transportation and a lot more. He is reliable, flexible, knowledgeable about Columbia travel and you can be confident that he'll be available should you questions or need to make changes during your trip.
We have awesome memories from the courses we played. First was Guaymaral located about 45 minutes outside of Bogota. It was absolutely gorgeous and extremely well maintained!! I highly recommend it if you are going to be in the capital. We also played in Eje Cafetero at Club Campestre Armenia. It exceeded our expectations both in tropical beauty and overall experience. Finally, about 30 minutes from the walled city center of  Cartagena lies Karibana. A very different course than the previous two courses I mentioned but so much fun and a truly stunning course!
Frank certainly helped make out trip stress free by giving us the assurance that our reservations would be honored when we arrived and because the transportation team was reliable, conscientious, and beyond kind.

I recently booked a golf tour through Frank and had an amazing experience! Frank and his company took care of all the finer details, including arranging transport, which made the entire process incredibly easy. If you're planning to golf in Colombia, I highly recommend booking through a reputable company like Frank's, especially if you're not fluent in Spanish. The security at private golf courses in Colombia is tight, but Frank ensured that our arrival at the club was smooth and hassle-free. Eine Radiosendung in der Schweiz hat uns auf Frank Spitzers Pelecanus aufmerksam gemacht. Unsere Colombia-Reise konnten wir sehr unkompliziert mit Frank via Video-Calls individuell zusammenstellen. Im Anschluss erhielten wir ein detailliertes Reiseprogramm. Unsere Rundreise von Mitte November bis Anfangs Dezember 2024 wurde von Pelecanus von A-Z perfekt organisiert. Das elektronische Reiseprogramm wurde jeweils mit den Kontaktangaben der Guides und Drivers sowie allfälligen von uns gewünschten Anpassungen aktualisiert. Die Guides (zweisprachig Engilsch/Spanisch oder Deutsch/Spanisch) an den diversen Destinationen waren alle sehr kompetent und engagiert! Die Drivers fuhren uns sicher und zuverlässig durch Colombia. Für uns war diese gut dreiwöchige Rundreise mit Pelecanus ein tolles und unvergessliches Erlebnis. Wir können Frank Spitzer/Pelecanus allen wärmstens empfehlen, die eine Individual-Reise durch Colombia planen.
